Aerialist and Physical Performer.

Jo discovered the exciting world of circus after training in gymnastics and theatre from a young age. This was the perfect marriage of her skills and passions.

Now, concentrating on her aerial hoop skills, she combines flexibility, strength and theatrical abilities to create interesting and dynamic aerial hoop acts. Jo is currently working on a new act which is highly technical and highlights her theatrical skill by its' narrative form.

At the age of 14, during her training with Playbox Theatre, Jo created an aerial company with whom she performed static trapeze, doubles trapeze and aerial silks in various venues across Warwickshire.

Jo continued her training at Circomedia, where she specialised in aerial and acrobatics and developed a surreal comic floor-based act "Live and Let Fry!" This act follows the tragic love story of a sausage and his egg! To view gallery please click here. She went on to acheive a Diploma in Circus Skills and Physical Theatre.

During her time at The Circus Space, Jo complimented her aerial abilities by developing skills in acrobatics, contemporary dance, ballet, handbalancing and flexibility.

She has recently collaborated with artists and companies such as Nofit State Circus, Greenwich Dance Agency and Jarvis Cocker.

Jo is available to perform a variety of highly technical and entertaining acts.

She is able to work as part of an ensemble, offers doubles and trio hoop acts in addition to her diverse range of solo aerial acts.
